| ABOUT THE MESSAGES
What makes Zingerang’s messages special? Zingerang’s messages are interactive messages that can contain multiple content screens. These screens are bundled together and delivered to a mobile user’s devices. Each screen requests a response, and the responses are returned to the sender in real-time. The messages track down users by roaming from device-to-device until the message is acknowledged.
How do I create a message? It is easy to create a message. Just click on Zingerang Connect in your Outlook menu. A drop down menu will allow you to select “New Message.” Just select and go! You can also click the Zingerang Connect toolbar button to select from favorite messages you have created and to view message responses
What do I need to do to send a Zingerang message? To send messages, you will need to register with Zingerang and download Zingerang Connect software to your PC. To register go to Zingerang’s Account Management site.
Can I save and resend messages? Yes, you can save any message that you create, label it, and save it as a ‘favorite’
What happens when I receive a Zingerang message? Depending upon the priority level of the message as defined by the sender, you may get an audible and visual alert on your personal devices. You will be able to open the message and respond, one screen at a time. There will also be a menu that will allow you to return to previously viewed screens. When you have responded to all the screens, the message will automatically return your responses to the sender.
Can I see the message after it has left my device? Yes, you have access to all messages that you have acknowledged in your “History”. On your PC, you can find the message history by clicking on the “Z” in the tray area and then selecting “History”. For other smart devices, select the Zingerang Connect icon and look for “History”.
Can I change my responses by resending the message from my “History"? No, because this is a real-time service, you cannot go back and change your responses.
What happens when the message is delivered as a voice call to my cell phone? When the message is delivered to your cell phone, you will get an audio version of the message. The sender may have chosen to truncate the text, so it may not have all the content of a message you receive on your other devices. You will be able to acknowledge receipt of the message but will not have access to any of the other screens that may have been sent in the message.
