What is a “smart” device? A ‘smart’ device includes PCs, SmartPhones, BlackBerrys, and PDAs. These technologies have the ability to present multiple data formats including images, word files, mp3 files, maps, etc. They also have an input device (keyboard, keypad, touch screen, etc.) that allows you to respond to structured elements. Zingerang Connect takes advantage of these capabilities to let you respond to messages.

How do I activate my devices? During the activation process, you will register with Zingerang and create a personal device profile. In the profile, you will enter your personal devices and select the order in which they will receive messages. You can manage your devices at any time by logging into Zingerang’s Account Management site.

What if I do not own any smart devices? You will need at least a PC to register for the service. Once you are registered, messages can be sent to a voice phone or text message device. However, a smart device is the best way to take advantage of Zingerang Connect’s capabilities.
